Black Teas

Black tea refers to tea that is fully oxidized (i.e., more oxidized than green, white or oolong teas). Black tea comes from the leaves of a shrub called Camellia sinensis.

Black tea contains caffeine and is typically more robust in flavor than other teas. Black tea retains its flavor longer than green tea (green tea typically loses flavor within a year).
