Herbal Teas (Tisanes)

Tisanes are often referred to as “herbal teas” but they do not really contain the signature plant leaves that are found in true tea (Camillia sensis).  Tisanes are usually blends of herbs, fruits, or flowers infused into water and enjoyed as a “tea” beverage.

Because these blends don’t use the tea plant, they’re often caffeine-free. Herbal tea blends have been used throughout history for a range of health benefits (i.e., cold and flu, nausea and digestion, muscle relaxers).

We use a range of organic herbs from our small farm to blend herbal teas for both specific health benefits, but also for flavor.

They also make wonderful iced teas!
